A low cost airline ticket is usually the priority of many travelers. Would you believe that the advent of the internet had made a great impact on the airline industry as well?
I can very well recall that in the olden days, a passenger needs to go to an airline ticketing office to make the necessary airline reservations by buying an airline ticket. And certainly, you have to wait for hours or be in a long line to be able to buy one.
Today, in the US alone, many Americans now simply sit in front of the computer and book their flights through the internet. The airline companies would either allow the passenger to simply print his or her own ticket through the personal computer of the passenger or the airline company would mail the ticket to the passenger. Isn't that great?
